In spring of 1936, Picasso meets Dora Maar. On March 25th takes Marie-Th?r?se and Maya to Juan-les-Pins, where they stay at Villa Sainte-Genevieve. During this time he works with the French printer Roger Lacouri?re on illustrations for the Buffon's Natural history, which will be published in 1942. On July 18th the civil war in Spain begins. August he spends in Mougins and Saint-Tropez with friends Roland and Valentine Penrose, Paul and Nyush ?luard. He starts an affair with Dora Maar. On September 23rd, he becomes the head of the Prado Museum. In fall, being separated from Olga, he lives with Marie-Th?r?se and Maya in Vollard's studio Temblay-sur-Mauldre.
