March 2, 1914, takes place the sale of works of young artists, including twelve Picasso’s paintings and drawings that achieved record prices. The sale was organized by Andr? Level, who previously created the Peau de l'Ours fund, supported by 12 investors who transferred 212 francs for the purpose to purchase low-cost works by young artists. In June, Picasso and Eve go to Avignon, and in August the First World War begins.
