Picasso works at the castle Vauvenargues in Cannes. On February 11th in Cannes Olga Khokhlova dies. In June, he buys villa “California” in Cannes. In summer he participates in documentary filming Le Myst?re Picasso by Henri-Georges Clouzot. Attends bullfights in Arles and Nimes. In October he writes paysages and interiors of villa "California".
