In June 1930, Picasso buys the Ch?teau de Boisgeloup in Normandy, where in the next year he will be engaged in sculpture, especially the large heads of Marie-Th?r?se. He spends the summer in Juan-les-Pins to work on still lifes with sand series. In fall, he moves Marie-Th?r?se to an apartment on La Bo?tie Street, No. 44, just a few steps away from his wife Olga.
