On September 16th, Picasso publishes his own newspaper, illustrated with portraits and caricatures. Since October, in the School, he creates plaster copies of ancient sculptures. He works on sketches and paints portraits of his family members, paying special attention to his parents. Pablos' paintings from the winter of 1894 in La Coru?a are considered to be his first serious work.
