In January, Picasso creates sketches and starts working on the iconic painting of The Young Ladies of Avignon. In July the painting is ready. Pablo meets the French artist Georges Braque. In March, by incident, Picasso buys Iberian sculptures stolen in the Louvre. In the summer he meets an art dealer and a publisher Daniel-Henry Kahnweiler who becomes one of Picasso's main dealers.
